Daily Planner
The to-do app was never the problem. Getting the thought into it was. So I built a planner where capturing a task takes 1 key press and an AI does the filing. This is a replica you can click: capture something, triage it, and watch it land on the calendar.
- 1. Capture a thought
- 2. Triage the Inbox
- 3. See where it shows up
1 Capture
Or grab one of these:
Inbox
2 Lists
Where triage files things. Tick a task to complete it.
3 Where it shows up
Calendar
Break it, then run the cross-check:
What just happened
The real one
What runs on my desk
- Capture is a macro key. Highlight text anywhere on the desktop, press it, and the text is in the ClickUp Inbox.
- Triage is Claude, working through an MCP server I built. It reads the Inbox, files each task, sets a due date when one is obvious, and asks instead of guessing when it isn't.
- Dated tasks sync one way to Google Calendar. Complete a task and its calendar entry goes at once.
- A cross-check runs every 6 hours and flags entries that are missing, orphaned, duplicated or edited by hand.
- A KDE Plasma widget shows today's events, what is due or overdue, and how long the day's tasks will take.
- It goes quiet whenever OBS is running, so nothing pops up on stream.
// Node.js, Python, QML, the ClickUp and Google Calendar APIs, MCP. Built with Claude Code.

What's faked here
- The data is invented. Nothing is sent anywhere, and a refresh wipes it.
- Triage here is a short list of keyword rules, which is why it's easy to confuse. The real one reads the task.
- The widget and the calendar are drawn in HTML. The real ones are a Plasma widget and Google Calendar.
